In the cold months of 2012 I decided I wanted to learn a new hobby, which quickly turned into a new obsession. I watched a few video tutorials on YouTube to teach me how to crochet. I picked it up pretty quick and started attempting to make scarves and hats.
I love finding free patterns online and really enjoy Repeat Crafter Me’s free patterns that can be found here: http://www.repeatcrafterme.com/p/crocheting.html. They are very well written and easy to follow and her patterns are SUPER cute!
All Free Crochet is another site with great patterns

Here are a few of my creations I have done:
This headwrap is cozy and warm for my girls! tangled happy provided the free pattern
for this project. (I sewed a button in the middle of the flower, which was not in the pattern)
These cute Owl Hats were one of my first projects! I made them using a free pattern
provided by Repeat Crafter Me
Hello Kitty…what little girl doesn’t love HK? My youngest daughter LOVES this and is
sure to tell everyone her Mommy made it for her!
I made it using a free pattern provided by Crochet in Color
Pro-Breastfeeding “nipple” hats made using a free pattern provided by Hodge Podge Crochet
I made a few of these to donate to my local Health Department in appreciation for all they do
to promote breastfeeding and healthy babies and moms!
If you have any neat patterns to share, please do! I’m always looking for new projects to try!
